Cake
this was a 3rd birthday cake i made out of some sponges and a paint tin for a shop window display for the hair salon where my sister works. I painted it with white paint the spray painted the cake to look like spinkels in places or icing, i also used some thick pink border hemming from some fabric i found to make it look like some of the icing had been piped around the edge of the cake, i used a large cotton real i found as a plinth and a round circle wooden board as a base for the cake, i then covered the board in gold and pink paper so you wouldnt be able to see the wooden circle board underneath. I also made a bow for a finishing touch and glued candels to the top of the cake which were of the colour scheme for the salon to show its connection.
